Free Uniform For Pupils In Ayobo-Ipaja

All public primary schools pupils in Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) are henceforth to enjoy free school uniforms and sandals.

All public primary schools pupils in Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) are henceforth to enjoy free school uniforms and sandals.

This was disclosed by the chairman of the council, Prince Bisi Yusuf, while declaring open a three-month computer study for indigent students which is being bankrolled by the LCDA.

He revealed that about 500 students were expected to participate in the course which was introduced to assist government in eradicating computer illiteracy. The council boss confirmed that 300 participants had shown up for the course so far.

Prince Yusuf disclosed that his administration would not only train the students in computer but would also empower them at the completion of the course.

He told P.M.News that his administrationís decision to give priority to education and health was in compliance with the state governmentís 10-point agenda, aimed at wiping out illiteracy.

Yusuf also warned that pupils found roaming the streets during school hours would be arrested.
